Jeannina BLANCO was born in Costa Rica in 1966. Her artistic expression was revealed at a very young age through her drawings and some collages she did under the pseudonym: "Gigi". In 1996 starts signing her artwork under her own name "Blanco" and began studies and practices of Painting in Newport Beach, California. After recovering from brain surgery, opened her first art studio in 1998, becoming one of the most prolific artists in Cannery Village in Newport Beach, California, where she had learn the techniques of painting with acrylics. Later she learned from contemporary artists at Scottsdale Artist School in Scottsdale, Arizona oil techniques that were used by French and American Impressionists.
From 1999 to 2001 became a patron member of the California Art Club and an active member of the Southern California Plein Air Painters Association.
In the year 2000, her talent was recognized by the journalist Lana Johnson of Los Angeles Times in the publication "Annual Almanaque of Orange County".
In 2001, after thirteen years away from Costa Rica, returned to her homeland and opened up an art gallery, framing shop and art school called "Arte Blanco", where she shared her knowledge with students and designed art products for four years. Also, organized art events in benefit of the elderly home in Escazú, Costa Rica two years in a row.
Her
name has been published in the "The Artist's Blue Book:
32,000 North American Artists" from 2002 to 2007. In
2003, The Miami Herald published two of her works in the Culture
section of the magazine "Explore" of the Latin-American
airline TACA.
Blanco
is completely dedicated to her Artwork and her philanthropic
projects through her Art Exhibits.
Her
large body of Work is composed by four hundred Paintings of
different media, a large amount of Drawings and Digital Media
Today she is a member of Artsbridge, NJ. US.
Her Works are found in Private and Public Collections in Canada, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Israel, Japan, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico and United States.

Nace en Costa Rica en 1966.
Su expresión artística se manifiesta desde muy joven a través del dibujo y de algunos obras en collage que realiza bajo el seudónimo: "Gigi". A partir de 1996 firma sus obras con su propio nombre "Blanco" e inicia estudios y prácticas de Pintura en Newport Beach, California, donde reside por una década. Después de recuperarse de una craneotomía, abre su propio Estudio de Arte en 1998, convirtiéndose en una de las artistas más prolíficas de Cannery Village. Poco después aprende de artistas contemporáneos en Scottsdale Artist School en Scottsdale, Arizona las técnicas del óleo que practicaban los Impresionistas Franceses y Norteamericanos.
De 1999 al 2001 es miembro del California Art Club y del Southern California Plein Air Painters Association.
En el 2000, la periodista Lana Johnson de Los Angeles Times, reconoce su talento en la publicación del Almanaque Anual de Orange County.
En el 2001, tras trece años fuera de Costa Rica, regresa a su patria y abre la Galería y Marquetería Arte Blanco, donde comparte sus conocimientos con sus estudiantes, diseña enmarcados y productos de arte por cuatro años, y también organiza el Bingo del Arte en el 2000 y el 2001 en beneficio del Hogar de Ancianos de Escazú.
Su nombre se encuentra publicado en el libro "The Artist's Blue Book: 32,000 North American Artists" en las ediciones del 2002 al 2006. En el 2003 The Miami Herald publica dos de sus obras en la pagina cultural de " Explore", la revista de la Aerolinea TACA.
Blanco continúa dedicada a su arte y su labor filantrópica a través de sus exposiciones y proyectos. Cuenta con aproximadamente cuatrocientas Obras pictóricas en diferentes técnicas, más de cien Dibujos y una gran cantidad de obras en formato digital.
En la actualidad es miembro de Artsbridge, New Jersey.
Sus Obras se encuentran en Colecciones Privadas y Públicas en Canada, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Estados Unidos, Inglaterra, Israel, Japón, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico y República Dominicana.
